Maritess has been working full-time in the apparel industry working in the licensing department. At this position she learned how to read contracts, fulfill contract obligations, and the basic understanding of branding. Prior to her current position she worked as an office manager in the medical office. Where she has learned how to organize, create forms, and prioritize her daily tasks.

Event planning had came to her when she was active with social networking sites. It started off with admiring wedding blogs, to creating inspiration boards, to writing blogs, and then featured on well-known event blogs. Discovering her passion for design she was inspired to pursue event coordination. It was the perfect answer for her with utilizing her eyes for design with attention to details skills through her previous experiences.
